Maybe with vue-demi, preferably without having to install @vue/composition-api.

Requirements: Needs to work with Vue 2.6, Vue 2.7 and Vue 3.

Maybe needs #333.

@reed665 Maybe you could give this a try? I see that you support (only) Vue 3 your fork.
