Server does not restart after app disconnect #21

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start Winamp with Server, Connect with Android app, everything works
2. Disconnect Android app
3. Server shuts down normally but cannot restart as "port already used"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Server should be restartd so it is possible to reconnect with app (right?)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Newest version of server and app. Winamp 5.61. Windows 7 Prof. x64 SP1 on an
Acer 5920G. I've got VMWare Workstation installed so there are multiple
networks on the system. The server displays also two IP adresses it's listening
on.

Please provide any additional information below.

Log from server (tried manual start of server but doesn't make any difference:
09/05/11 - 19:15:42: JTFE 1.2.4 necessary to recognize "jump to file"-commands.
Update Winamp or manually install new JTFE version.

09/05/11 - 19:15:43: Starting server on port 50000
09/05/11 - 19:15:54: Connected
09/05/11 - 19:16:35: Disconnected

09/05/11 - 19:17:04: Starting server on port 50000
09/05/11 - 19:17:04: Port already used
09/05/11 - 19:17:04: Disconnected

the only way I have found to fix this is to enter another number, like 49999,
and start and stop the server until it says it is on that port. It may crash,
but just restart winamp. Put it back onto 50000 (so you don't have to change
the settings on the android device) and eventually it will connect again. I say
eventually because it took a couple of goes and a couple of crashes in winamp
before it worked again. Please fix it as I love this remote :P I'm using a cruz
t301 tablet, when its working it works like a charm.
