1 month ago it looks like in the newest example pack, the folders of cabin are not longer inside, so maybe the dev stopped to support this great feature.. i have no idea why, cause its the best feature for us in this mod. i waiting over 2 years for an answer i hope if the dev it anytime add, it also works for legacy version, cause in 1.6 some mods stopped working...
before i had folders named LogCabin, PlankCabin and StoneCabin with textures and json inside, and it worked automatic for the first house step without upgrades. after first upgrade it was buggy, cause it dont take the full wide of next texture. so, it look so if the mod works, but, there is a bug that just should get changed.
in the attached picture you see how it looks like by cabin upgrade level 3.
i hoped there should folders be like LogCabin_0 and LogCabin_1 like similar for the farmhouse, but it dont looked working before and there is nothing about that in the wiki too... i mean, maybe we should change the style after every upgrade level, okay if its not automatic, but this is a feature most needed i think, cause SV allone is... it makes more fun to play with others...

After making a content pack for the most recent version of AT, I am unable to get AT to use the correct texture for the level of cabin. The texture in the pain bucket menu is the level 3 texture, but in game it's always the level 1 texture, regardless of upgrade level.
