seems your 10.12.6 update doesn't include it..

No correct, this patch usually only works to enable higher rates on Dual Link DVI.. are you using that? I can do some test today

Ok then I don't need it.. it's for getting HDMI 2.0 4k 60 4:4:4 in a 10.12 reléase with GTX970 so far no luck.. note I have other installation of 10.11.6 with 4k60 working.. so seems a problem of 10.12.. hope 10.13 fixes it either on os side or Nvidia drivers.. BTW are you aware of anybody getting 4k60 on Macos working on Maxwell or Pascal on HDMI2.0? if not seems I will have to buy a displayport to HDMI2.0 adapter as my 4k TV only has HDMI2.0 inputs..

Not aware of anyone who has in 10.12 and thag working and there is so many different issues here that I don't exactly remember.. i want to make some compatibility list.. but it will take a lot if time I don't have..

I'm not sure if anyone has come across this problem, but Logic Pro X glitches and lags an extreme amount when using the Displayport for an unknown reason. With HDMI it works without as hitch. I recently grabbed a 4k screen and cannot use the screen with the HDMI 2.0 cable and 4k screen. I'm using the GTX 970 too.

Is your iGPU disabled? maybe that will help? When I'm home after xmas I will try again to get HDMI2.0 to work on Pascal card.
