Just wanted to post and say this patcher bricked my OS. I followed the instructions. For OS 10.13 it says all you need to do is run coredisplay. After doing that, booting in verbose mode gave me "failed to initialize graphics firmware" error and wont finsh booting. Checked instructions again, tried with coredisplay version 4 and now not able to boot into safe mode or recovery mode.
Please can someone help me try to fix this before concluding that I need to reformat my entire system? that would also mean i am back to square one with occasional black screen on boot issue. Ideally I would like to see if this fix COULD be made to work. thanks
