I believe this is fixed in the official 1.19.0 release.

Problem Description
Issue Description: When double-clicking on window margins instead of dragging with the resize cursor, the window height becomes fixed even if the query is empty.
Why use double-click? Double-clicking the top bezel of a window to make it fit the height of the screen is a popular behavior and useful particularly when many results are displayed, allowing users to maximize the window height. Additionally, users can return to the previous height by double-clicking again.
