Installation Feedback #7

Current Behavior

Currently when installing the @flowfuse/node-red-dashboard-2-user-addon it will install successfully. Though, there is no feedback that it was installed correctly after refreshing the page or the ability to see if it has been installed.

It is possible to try to install over and over again and receive this error: image

No, feedback that it has been installed. image

Also it doesn't show up as installed Nodes:

Expected Behavior

Post installation of the node, I should have the ability to see the node installed in the pallet manager and be allowed to uninstall.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Install the node @flowfuse/node-red-dashboard-2-user-addon.
  2. Refresh browser
  3. check to see if installed in pallet manager
  4. try to install again and get error after seeing that it doesn't seem to be installed.

This is out of our control as its an underlying Node-RED bug, that I believe @knolleary is fixing with the 4.0 beta?

Fixed in Node-RED core
