I've been trying out a bunch of those GG2SMS conversions, some are just a glitchy mess, but some look pretty good. Problem though, many of them have been patched to use SMS Player2-Down as a replacement for GG start (ie: they just search and replace register $00 with $DC). I've tried switching to controller2 in the S8DS menu, but I can't seem to generate one as of v1.1.6.
User-configurable button mapping, an additional controller type, menu item, or even just a full-time mapping of the X button to player2 down under existing 3 button layout? I'd love a solution that doesn't require manual interaction...
