Status of projec as October 2018? #19

Hi I follow OpenRiichi closely as I am interested in mahjong and I feel OR is the best FOSS of its kind (and also compared to non-FOSS it is really good). The last commit was months ago and was wondering what's the status of the project. What are the short-term plans for OpenRiichi? Hope this project is not dead. Best Regards.

I was going to submit the new version the other day, but then I found a memory leak which I wanted to fix, then I got busy with other things. I'll probably spend quite a bit of time on this over the holiday period, but hopefully I'll be able to find some time before then to release the next version.

Any updates? as the development stalled or moved somewhere else?

Hey there. I released the development version (something I should have done years ago). You can go ahead and give it a try, if you are still interested in the project.

@FluffyStuff Hello, thanks for the update. I am indeed still interested in the project, it is the best FLOSS solution for mahjong, I found :)

Do you have plans for future development?

I am not a developer but I would be happy to test new features (if you can provide assistance in case I get stuck).

I'll make some more minor tweaks over the next couple of days, since there is still a lot of small broken details all around. I probably won't be doing anything major until my next vacation period.

That being said, a lot of the code changed since the last version, so it would be worth taking a look to see if anything in the game broke.
