Deleting a Single Character Clears the Entire Field

Current Behavior

This issue has been reported twice in the past, both of them were closed.

If you have a mask on a TextField and try to edit the text, the entire content will be deleted.

I have attached a video showing the problem and a possible solution.

Expected Behavior

Be able to edit the TextField without losing its content.
