In my case, i had a specific version of react-native-webview pre installed
Use the most recent react-native-webview or just add "^" to the package
Hi @joegichuru did the webview version upgrade resolve your issue? If you can also share your version of react-native I may be able to help find the suitable version f webview if you're still experiencing this.

I think making react-native-webview a peer dependency will solve the issue in the case you explicitly have react-native-webview installed.
