Update dependencies, replace Images with ImageCore #58

Replaces Images dependency with ImageCore. Images depends on and reexports a bunch of packages that are probably not used.
Replaces two deprecated functions

The tests passed, but I didn't "manually" compare outputs. You might want to take a look at ReferenceTests.jl to replace some @test_nowarn dry-run tests!
