(2022; FBrf0253187), in a scRNAseq dataset from the L3 optic lobe, found both types of lamina wide-field neurons (lamina wide-field 1 neuron and lamina wide-field 2 neuron) but were unable to dinstinguish transcriptionally between the two, and therefore annotated them under the single name “lamina wide-field neurons“ or “Lawf1-2”.
We thus need a parent term to regroup both lamina wide-field 1 neuron and lamina wide-field 2 neuron.
