Konstantinides et al. (2022; FBrf0253187) found that many neuron types of the pupal/adult optic lobes already exist at the 3rd instar larval stage.
We already have a bunch of terms to represent those larval “precursors” of the pupal/adult cell types under the immature neuron hierarchy, but we are missing a handful of grouping terms to annotate clusters where the precise cell type could not be identified.

We already have a bunch of terms to represent those larval “precursors” of the pupal/adult cell types under the
immature neuron
hierarchy, but we are missing a handful of grouping terms to annotate clusters where the precise cell type could not be identified.Specifically, we are missing:
immature distal medullary amacrine neuron
immature lobula columnar neuron
immature transmedullary neuron
immature optic lobe centrifugal columnar neuron
