obsolete uncharacterised neurons from Lai et al. (1991) #1912

'lateral ipsisegmental neuron' and 'ventral intersegmental neuron' are mentioned in Lai et al. (1991) - FBrf0054608 (= ontology term reference), but not characterised other than by expression of ZFH genes. 'ventral intersegmental neuron' has additionally been used for curation of FBrf0055868, which identifies expression of abd-A in "intersegmental neurons", but there does not seem to be any evidence that these are the same cells as the ZFH-expressing cells from FBrf0054608. These poorly-defined terms are not useful (should probably never have been created in the first place) and may to lead to further confusion, so they should be obsoleted.

we can probably replace usage with 'CNS neuron' for retrofitting flybase curation

It seems odd that we don't have just 'intersegmental neuron'.

I am not convinced that having a term for 'intersegmental neuron' would be worth the effort to try to identify its subclasses. There are probably also several types that may stray into neighbouring segments in some individuals, but not others.
