Low quality icons on GNOME's application launcher #122

When using app autodetection, icons appear with low quality (low resolution and lack of colors), at least on GNOME:

can confirm, that's an issue for most native MS apps

you can add custom icons by changing the Icon path in the .desktop entry in GNOME.

That's indeed true, but it's only a workaround -- icons should appear properly out of the box.
