When running installer.sh it spits out a few errors and then when I try to launch Word nothing happens.

Same issue here, the check command works totally fine explorer starts during the check and everything but when I install the office suite it doesn't launch at all.

I've only tested with OneNote but this fixed it for me:

  1. In Windows VM add the Office16 directory (mine was C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Root\Office16) to the PATH environment variable (use Advanced System Settings) or CMD.
  2. Start your Office app (OneNote in this case) - ./bin/winapps manual ONENOTE.EXE Took about 4-5 seconds and OneNote started right up. Working well with casual testing so far.

BTW I'm on Manjaro/Plasma/wayland/nVidia - up to date
