io_widget and jquery reliability #170

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

Sometimes, the input box or the stop program image do not appear when
executing a program from an editor. At other times, the input box on the
first interpreter on a page did not appear ... there seems to be some
minor unreliability since the switch to jquery. Anyone noticing this
behaviour should comment here, pointing out any clue they may find...

More unreliability observed. Sometimes clicking on execute (under editor or
similar
under doctest) only make the stop thread button appear but no output. Have also
observed that the basic editor test (prime numbers with a traceback) sometimes
only
shows the traceback i.e. the original print output is not shown.

This *might* be solved by moving some javascript code from comet.py to the web
page.

This does not appear to be solved by moving javascript code form cometIO.py to
the
web page. It appears that some post request simply do not make it ... I don't
think
it's really a jquery related bug. This might be too complicated to solve
before 1.0.
