(Note: I noticed this after playing simulacrum on both typhoon and monsoon and a small group of volatile beetles spawned)
Even with the nerf, they seem to still be a problem. The amount of homing missiles it has causes it to be almost impossible to avoid, causing almost a guaranteed death. This is especially the case when multiple spawn at once or when you're in a tight spot. A friend of mine recommended that they should work like they did in the Risk of Rain 1, where they track the player to a certain extent, stopping relatively where the player is/was. (If it's even possible to make changes such as this, that is.)
Another recommendation would be to add a config to tweak the damage of the elite's missiles.
