let me try to answer:
- Feature complete?
Yes. I don't want to add features (not before going stable, which is still long), but there are things that needs to be done better.
- 0.7 coming some time or too busy?
Not coming soon. My time for OS is quite limited these days, and I actively follow few projects now. Foil is one of them, but if no one helps me here, I don't foresee room for much progress any time soom. 0.7 could happen in 2018, but hard to be more precise.
- Did someone else produce something even better?
If you want to stay in the field of PHP templates, I think that Plates is the alternative. I build Foil because I had issues with that, but it is actively developed and more mature than Foil.
Hey @gmazzap. I mentioned you in another WP framework project and in connection was wondering what the status of this templating project is. Feature complete? 0.7 coming some time or too busy? Did someone else produce something even better?
