Enhancmemt: add more scientific data in API and/or log #1449

For 3rd party apps it would be great have the dimension of the folding box somewhere in the simulation-info or trajectory.

In addition also the projects specific checkpoint frequency would be useful to deliver up to the user and 3rd party app.
