It would be wise to check the request data before adding it into the history. We could compare the data to the previous one (or any one for that matter). Maybe if we find one where the data matches, we update the date on the found history to move it to the top of the list.
More times than not, the duplicate history is going to be the most recent history, but this would cover all of our bases.
