This would add further limits and features to enforce the rules of the area effects

There is always exception to the rules https://2e.aonprd.com/Spells.aspx?ID=990 is a line in the pf2e system but is a ranged, luckily it has a ranged entry so it looks like that will be a good thing to check for. https://2e.aonprd.com/Spells.aspx?ID=1138 is just coded as a squares https://2e.aonprd.com/Spells.aspx?ID=1131 look like it reads as a rect and is coded as such until level 5 when it is wrongly changed to a burst.
