Wifi driver does not resume properly after suspend #26

Wifi does not work (doesn't show up in Network Manager and ifconfig shows it without an IP address) and shows a kernel traceback in dmesg after resuming from suspend. This is on Ubuntu 18.04 with the stock 4.15 Ubuntu kernel.

Driver works again simply by unplugging the Edimax AC1200 USB dongle and re-plugging into the back of my PC.

Will attach relevant debugging.

We have seen this as well with EDUP 11AC Dual Band Wireless USB Adapter using this driver.

After some time wifi drops and if ifconfig is run, does not have an ip address. If iwconfig is run, shows unassociated even when within 10 feet of wifi access point for ESSID found in wpa_supplicant.
