@davelab6 @dberlow

Here are two examples of how ytde can benefit display typography in responsive design.

Caption: YTDE is useful in adjusting letters when leading is reduced, in all sizes. Very useful in responsive design when headlines change from single lines to multiple lines of text.

I love it

I think in general these are great.

What I'd like to do is frame them in a common narrative tailored to each axis, for different kinds of users and uses thus,

  1. our subject user: a. Person meets type, b. Person likes type. 2.our problem for user a. Person finds type problem, b. Person doesn’t like type problem.

3.our hero a. Person finds variable font axis, b. Variable font axis solves type problem. (this must be specifically indicated as an interactive or programatic solution. If programatic, the exact equation must be delivered in the demo.)

  1. and they lived...a. Person likes type again, b. Person composes type happily ever after.
  2. que Music.

This kind of narrative glue is useful, I think, when presenting a a variety of users at once.

The narrative idea is nice! Will this go in the "Additional information" sections?

I have added narratives in "Additional information" https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13QZl_mnEyV4IgJWO_ysGEClQAoX500tdxEsAlJPF_TQ/edit#gid=0
