The very first version had something called VANG. As I said I removed it when I thought slant would do it. I’ll get to it when I get back but it’s a pretty straightforward thing compared to the garbage they’ve made of a simple thing.

I don't remember a parametric angle axis proposal. If this can be fished out of the commit history, that would be great! But perhaps this needs to be rewritten from scratch? PSLN? :)

There were various names that eventually evolved to variationsguide.typenetwork.com/#vrot ...This was proposed as a general solution to differ rotational variation to skewed variation that was thought to be typographic slant.
