[Feature Request] Allow exporting of alternative readings and kanji usages that are NOT the word

Often, a lot of words can be expressed with many different kanji, or have different readings which may or may not have different meanings.

For example, 渡る has a lot of different kanji that can be used instead (i.e. 亘る). When using "Group related terms", a lot of them come up under the same dictionary definition. It would be helpful if I could get those without 渡る exported in a list, as it would make, among others, battling confusion between these words way easier.

On the other hand, a single word often can be read in many different ways, sometimes changing the meaning as well. When reviewing, if you only see the expression (i.e. 主), you cannot tell if it is maybe supposed to be read a certain way (i.e.おも). If it would be like "Expression: not other readings" (i.e. 主: not ぬし, しゅ, あるじ, etc.), that would be very helpful. So being able exporting a list with the other readings would be helpful.

I am not sure I understand exactly what's being asked, so some questions:

It would be helpful if I could get those without 渡る exported in a list, as it would make, among others, battling confusion between these words way easier.

• When you say "those", what are you referring to? The headwords? The definitions? Other?
• When you refer to "exporting a list", what do you mean by this? Do you mean exporting to Anki?

It might be helpful to take a screenshot of an example search, the output you're currently seeing, and an example of what output you'd want to see.

This is what I see with "Result grouping mode: Group related terms". When I want to export a word not in that view, I only see this: So far, so good. I prefer to use "Group term-reading pairs".
Now, when I press "Add expression", I would like to add the other variants to another field on my note. So my Expression field would be "渡る" and the other field would be "亘る、渉る、亙る".

Similarly, when I use Yomichan on "白金", I get with "Group related terms", and with "Group term-reading pairs" (there is one more reading not on the screenshot しろがね).
Now, when I press "Add expression", I would like to add the other readings on another field. So the "Reading" field would be "はっきん", while the other filed would be "しろかね、しろがね".

Notably, in both cases I would like for no other field to change. I just want to know when reviewing the item what it isn't. Because few things are as frustrating as getting asked for 白金 and 白金 and having both cases be different in reading AND meaning. So being able to customize my card to show something like "白金, not: しろかね、しろがね" would be really helpful.

I understand now.

Such a change presents a few issues with how "related terms" are looked up.

• When using "Group term-reading pairs", related terms are not looked up at all. Adding this info would add an additional lookup step.
• When using "Group related terms", there is a "Primary dictionary" option which is used to select which dictionary to search from. The "Group term-reading pairs" mode does not use this option, nor does it present it.

Sorry for not replying sooner.

Personally, I think if that is only about overhead, I would not mind it for myself. I don't think I would notice if it took a bit longer for an Anki note to be generated.
