About two weeks ago I had a bug where my search window (the popup that opens when you copy japanese text) was not opening, not even if I clicked the "open" button on the settings page. I tried reinstalling the extension but the problem persisted. A couple of days after, the issue resolved itself, but now and again it will come back around to not opening, for no apparent reason (I didn't change any of the settings, tried killing the chrome process and opening again, restarting my computer, nothing seems to work) even though I had the window working just fine a few minutes earlier (did not install anything or change any files during that time).
I don't know if this is a problem on my end or a problem with the extension, but it would be nice to have a solution either way. Unfortunately I don't know how to recreate the issue either.
This could be a browser bug also, but it's difficult to diagnose the issue without it being reproducible. I'm unable to reproduce the issue myself, but a few things you could try in case you re-encounter the issue:
Middle click (or CTRL+click) the search button on the browser action popup.
Manually navigate to chrome-extension://ogmnaimimemjmbakcfefmnahgdfhfami/search.html to make sure that works. You can also bookmark this URL.
