Dictionary edition updates for Yomichan

I am wondering, is there any reference or way to update the Japanese dictionaries listed at this link?

Or perhaps more fundamentally, do any dictionary edition updates even exist in the 1st place? Vocabulary additions and word usage changes over time. Is there an automated way to do this within the Chrome extension?

you download the source files and convert them using the yomichan-import
