Chapter 0 means "oneshot", so it removes the number. Could you explain in which case would you need chapter 0? There might already be a solution.
Ah, that would make sense. However, I just started translating a manga that started a couple months ago. When the first issue of the magazine it's in came out, it was a double release and had a "Chapter 0" and a "Chapter 1" together. The first page of the first chapter (I think of it as a teaser chapter) actually says "Chapter 0." Is there any way to get the reader to display it in the list as "Chapter 0?"
You can just insert "Chapter 0" as title.
Ah. Wow, why didn't I think of that :P
I just tried that and then noticed another problem. If I have 10 chapters of a series online and then find out that volume 1 contains chapters 1-7, if I go and set those 7 chapters as being in volume 1, then the order gets messed up. The 3 leftover volumes that aren't assigned a volume number appear below those in volume 1. Is there a way to fix that or am I just not able to assign volume numbers unless all the chapters have one?
It's again one-shot issues. Several manga have oneshots "promos" out of volume and they should stay on bottom as they came before the magazine publishing.
Aren't you able to predict the number of chapters per volume and just add it beforehand?
Yeah, the one-shot thing makes sense.
You can't always predict the number of chapters in a volume, though. Some series always put the same number of chapters in each volume, but a lot of them change from volume to volume. I guess you could just set everything that hasn't been released in volume format as being in the next volume until you know for sure...
Is there any way to change the ordering so that one-shots appear at the bottom, chapters with a volume number assigned are above that, and then chapters without a volume number assigned show up at the top of the list? Just a suggestion... Not absolutely necessary.
Not sure if this is really considered a bug, but the reader doesn't like the number '0' in the chapter field.
I have a series that has a "Chapter 0," however when you enter '0' in the Chapter Number field, it doesn't properly recognize it so the chapter number isn't displayed on the reader.
