Authorisation is actually the correct spelling outside North America (http://grammarist.com/spelling/authorise-authorize/). Since both are correct and I'm from England, I prefer to stick to the English spelling of the word :)

I did actually research this at the time so it was a conscious decision.

Cool, I've purposefully tried to keep the word out of the code so as to avoid confusion.
