By 3rd Party, I mean planks from other mods like BOP or Terraqueous, which add in many trees. I think this would be a good idea, as it would allow for greater flexibility in wood patterning, and It would definitely be nice for building. As for implementation, I don't know fully how you would pull it off, but I have seen instances where a mod detects what is and isn't a wooden plank - Doggy Talents does this by detecting what is and isn't registered as a wooden plank in game, and creates dog bed casings out of that, with the 3rd party wood colour and texture being used for the casing. Maybe something similar to that could be used. Thanks!
