Custom Tree Breeding #1482

Can it be made possible to add other trees to forestry's tree breeding system?

As output would be nice, also as input would be glorious.

Could you elaborate a bit? What do you mean by input/output here?

You mean simlar to the way Gendustry allows you to add custom bees?

I play (and pack) with lots of mods which add trees. Some of these trees have special mechanics available from them, which I would like to be able to restrict access to, via the tree breeding system. Yes, in a fashion not dissimilar to Gendustry's Custom Bees. The ability to make those other trees inputs into the system (as pollen sources at least) for cross breeding would also be nice.

Is there a way to do this at all currently, even if it isn't user-friendly? I am trying to create a 1.10.2 pack that has a lot of cross-mod requirements and compatibilities. Is there a way to add them directly in a copy of the source code, and would this be allowed?
