Seems like the same problem as https://github.com/ForestryMC/ForestryMC/issues/2287
I am also receiving this error
@olesiek , I can still join the server despite getting kicked out the first time. I assume you can do the same?
Yes. I can join when trying second or third time. Sometimes a lot more... Im getting in first time when i installed mod which is adding more time to something called Player login timeout. But server is lagging a lot then
Can also confirm this crash with newer versions of mods.
Is there any solution to this problem? Players keep getting kicked out of the server with the crash...
A crash report/mod list would be very useful. Hopefully then it will be easier to work out what the common mods are in these cases that are likely to cause this issue.
Also, I would note from your comment on this issue that it would seem that vanilla fix is causing problems when leaving a server for you. Perhaps it is also the cause of the issues when joining?
It would probably be very useful to try without vanillafix and see if the issue persists.
This crash is hard to predict, but I agree there's a chance the cause is only VanillaFix. I wish the developers of it could join in to the discussion.
Not related to this particular issue with VanillaFix, just info for those who end up here from Google:
Same thing was happening to me with DivineRPG v1.5.2 - a null pointer exception was happening in DivineAPI.getArcana() and then all the mods were throwing null pointers, updating DivineRPG fixed it. Seems like it could be caused by any kind of other mods prone to player-object-related race conditions on initial sync
Hi, I'm suspecting Forestry for getting java.langIO.... bla bla bla exception when trying to join to my minecraft server, Vanilla fix report:
