Apply for Facebook and Instagram fundraising tools #527

I'm looking to add a donate button to our Facebook and Instagram page, however, we must be an approved charitable organization on Facebook to add a Donate button to our Page. We must apply to use Facebook's fundraising tools.

The application requires:

  1. Information about your organization: Your organization's name, address, contact information and tax ID number or charity registration number. This information must match on all required documents and your charity registration.
  2. PayPal Giving Fund profile: Meta partners with PayPal Giving Fund to support donations benefiting nonprofits. You'll need to confirm the PayPal Giving Fund profile that matches your EIN or tax ID on record.
  3. Information about your CEO: The name, date of birth and address of the highest-ranking executive officer in your organization.

Hi all,

Please, we have to keep this simple for this year. Use the fundraising tools already set up with CanadaHelps. No Giving Tuesday registration, no Facebook widgets. We can absolutely get fancy next year.
