The printer should execute the start gcode that positions the printhead to prime both nozzles and swap nozzles during the prime as well as throughout the print.
What happened instead?
Test mode print did not seem to run the start gcode that does priming nor activate the T0/T1 toolchange commands which in turn should have run hard coded Gcode tool change commands in the printer Marlin firmware (2.1.1).

Screenshot/Video Links: Test mode basically ignores the toolchange commands and does not trigger the toolchange or associated gcode to move the nozzle to the correct docking positions. The printhead moves X/Y correctly for the rest of the print.
