We are trying to building a space for people who build software and companies building developer-centric tools. There are many co-working spaces in Seattle, but most cater to a broad community of self-employed individuals, small non-profit organizations, freelancers and startup companies. We want to build a community specifically around software and the things that software people care about.

Please let us know what you'd like to see in a space like this. What's on your wish list? Is this an idea that you're excited about? We are :)

Lots of smaller conference rooms for a max of 3 or 4 people. Many spaces have open plan desks and then only one or two large conference rooms; this makes it hard for a small team of people to have longer discussions without bugging everyone around them.

Hi @crabasa – this is an excellent idea. Things that would be important to me:

• High-speed, reliable Wi-Fi • 24 hour access (or at least past midnight) • Standing desks or shared tables at standing height • Friendly people with a collaborative bent

For myself, I would want to have a quiet place or more private for those times when you want to focus as well as a place to work out in the open when you need the interactions and distractions. Sometimes when working through harder problems (for me at least) I need to be away from distractions... so maybe if you have a quiet corner or area where people can be away from traffic?

So I agree with @sdossick on either more smaller rooms or conference rooms you can book when you want some peace from the traffic.

Possibly the ability to have lockers or dedicated desks if you plan to come in on a regular basis. I did this in Tacoma and it was great to have my cinema display there every day and I was able to leave my heavy duty moped lock there so I didn't have to tote it around with me.

My requirements

Nice to haves

In terms of pricing, I'd like to be able to lease a desk for XX day allotments and be able to use those days over the course of 3 months, ie. pay for 20 days of a desk and use it whenever within 3 months.
