All radiation from the surface would be directly radiated to space, and all incoming flux would be absorbed by the surface. Therefore, the surface should reach the planetary equilibrium temperature at some time evolution (unless the planet solidifies before that)
This would provide a platform for establishing how much the atmosphere is slowing the cooling of the planet, even though it isn't itself physical. It would also be helpful for debugging PROTEUS.
