Icon request: user-hierarchy (users as sitemap) #12060

An icon for Leadership / Management / Manager etc.

Thanks for being part of the Font Awesome Community.

Any single-color example suitable for 16px icon size?

Please take another look at our Contributing guidelines.

Maybe a duplicate of #3397

3397 is actually for a single person. A person with a tie could be just an executive and not necessarily a manager.

This icon is meant to represent collective leadership / management in general, not even necessarily a boss or a manager.

These are some of the ideas for the icon. I think these could be simplified for a 16px icons size.

I am not a designer otherwise I would love to design one and present as an option as I love Font-Awesome. Thanks for all the amazing icons.

Did this by combining the User and Sitemap icons.

Those examples are too complex to fit 16px icon size

This one is slightly better, and it could be called user-hierarchy

What do you think?

This would work for user-hierarchy but I don't think it could be used for leadership. What do you think about this?

As per Contributing Guidelines

Request concrete objects: it's harder to make an icon to represent happiness, it's easier to make a smiley face. ☺

I prefer another title for this request. Leadership is hard to represent, a user hierarchy is easier.

The icon in your example represents a "user with tie and sitemap" so the title should be something like that, maybe with leadership in parenthesis

This is a quick update to let folks know that we’re refining our icon request workflow behind the scenes, and as part of that we’re going through all open requests and filing them into several new buckets to be addressed.

In this case we’ve added this issue to our new list to be created! We can’t promise any firm timelines right now, but this will help us keep track of it.

We’ll update this issue when the icon is released into the wild 🙂
