Icon Request: fa-sort-time-asc & fa-sort-time-desc

In many applications sorting by time is a required feature like:

• sort orders by time
• show last added products in shop
• sort users by registration date

A up- and down arrow / caret with a clock next to it could be a nice addition.

i'm in need of an icon like this too. but my idea would have been an hourglass instead of a clock. i think it would be more in line with the vertical design of the currently existing sorting icons.

This is a quick update to let folks know that we’re refining our icon request workflow behind the scenes, and as part of that we’re going through all open requests and filing them into several new buckets to be addressed.

In this case we’ve added this issue to our new list to be created! We can’t promise any firm timelines right now, but this will help us keep track of it.

We’ll update this issue when the icon is released into the wild 🙂
