Icon request: fa-index-card & fa-index-card-alt #13533

Open chemocool opened 6 years ago

What can it be used for?

An icon for an "Indexed" Item would be useful.

1 version with text only and 1 version with a picture like the provided image

The bottom part is vital for conveying an Index idea, it's like a rolodex card (see second image).

The icons @tagliala showed me are close to what i need, but I really need to have an index feel to them. We could easily use those icons as the basis of the new ones because they are similar.

Hi!

Do:

fit your use case?

Please make sure that your request follows our new icon request template

chemocool commented 6 years ago

It's really close to what i need, but i really need the "index" feel to it.

It's used on my webapp to define if a field in my entity should be indexed or not.

If i don't find what i need, i'll recreate the post, using the proper icon request template.

Thanks for looking into this :)

@chemocool sorry, I can leave this open, but please edit the first post and explain why you can't use the icons I've provided.

@tagliala i've updated my first post to follow the template for new icons.

This is a quick update to let folks know that we’re refining our icon request workflow behind the scenes, and as part of that we’re going through all open requests and filing them into several new buckets to be addressed.

In this case we’ve added this issue to our new list to be created! We can’t promise any firm timelines right now, but this will help us keep track of it.

We’ll update this issue when the icon is released into the wild 🙂
