Icon request: icon-horizontal-ruler, icon-vertical-ruler, icon-combined-ruler

Font-Awesome is missing measuring-icons..

I suggest a horizontal and a vertical version. And maybe a combination of the two, in the form of an L (as in height & width).

This seems very basic, should be added to indicate all kinds of measurements, distance, etc. (a double-sided arrow doesn't really work)

+1, I need to represent a weight or volumetric measurement in my app and the closest I can find is the tachometer (which isn't very close at all), so I'd also like to see a set of scales and a measuring cup/beaker type thing (in addition to a ruler).

Here's an example reference.

I created two icons, a ruler and a weight:

ruler_14px_rounder_100px

weight_ai5_100px

Both are as pixel-perfect as possible and tested at 14x14 pixels - see:

ruler_14px_rounder - it's actually 13px wide, might need to reconsider positioning within grid

weight_ai5 - I also tried a circle handle and rounder corners, but wasn't as recognizable

I would be happy to share my Illustrator / SVG files, public domain!
