UPDATE

1. NO, it isn't a brand.

According to Apple's Guidelines, it seems that no man can use their logo or graph unless purchase a reseller agreement.

You may not use the Apple Logo or any other Apple-owned graphic symbol, logo, or icon on or in connection with web sites, products, packaging, manuals, promotional/advertising materials, or for any other purpose except pursuant to an express written trademark license from Apple, such as a reseller agreement.

However, Apple provided this icon here for free and it is not one of icons in Apple's Trademark Lists, So I believe it can be used without a "reseller agreement".

2.I think we can just wipe off the gray line.

2. Clarify if this is a brand icon

Does this icon have brand guidelines from apple? Please do a search

3. Note that this icon uses two colors to represent the cube.

The provided example uses two colors. We will have duotone icons, but a generic icon should be available in single color (black only)

This is a quick update to let folks know that we’re refining our icon request workflow behind the scenes, and as part of that we’re going through all open requests and filing them into several new buckets to be addressed.

In this case we’ve added this issue to our new list to be created! We can’t promise any firm timelines right now, but this will help us keep track of it.

We’ll update this issue when the icon is released into the wild 🙂
