Icon request: save-alt

What can it be used for? As floppy disk is getting old and people doubting more and more of it's relevance in user interfaces, it would be helpful to have a new way of saving when "file-export" or "cloud-upload" are not convenient enough.

Example image (optional)

An arrow toward a box, more or less like file-import but with a square that can represent any kind of storage as it's abstract.

Also, but not absolutely necessary in this thread, it can possibly be declined to a "save-as" icon by adding ellipsis inside the box to hint the fact that an additional naming and/or browsing step will be required.

Icon request checklist

This is a quick update to let folks know that we’re refining our icon request workflow behind the scenes, and as part of that we’re going through all open requests and filing them into several new buckets to be addressed.

In this case we’ve added this issue to our new list to be created! We can’t promise any firm timelines right now, but this will help us keep track of it.

We’ll update this issue when the icon is released into the wild 🙂
