people-arrows icon not working in desktop apps #16366

When I use the people-arrows icon (f968) in desktop apps I am seeing this: 泌. Please advise.

which application?

fa-people-arrows has been introduced in FA 5.13.0

This could depend on an older version installed (or cached) by your system.

Please update your Font Awesome version, and if that doesn't work, follow our troubleshooting guide here: https://fontawesome.com/how-to-use/on-the-desktop/other-topics/troubleshooting

I can see the icon in some applications, and I have trouble in microsoft paint (virus works, people-arrow doesn't)

Will investigate tomorrow

Adobe InDesign. Working now in Photoshop and Illustrator — yesterday wasn't working in these apps.

There may be some font caching involved

I think so — I'm not familiar with this tech but it would explain why AI and PS just suddenly started working a while after I installed the new version (and not at first).
