Use case

Hello, everyone! Over the years, we've gotten a number of requests to include country flags in Font Awesome. To this day, they still remain mostly out-of-scope for our project because:

• Single color implementation won't work for a number of countries
• Our design guidelines and grid system won't work for some of the more complex symbology
• Including some flags, but not others, feels haphazard (yes, we know there's already a US-flag icon)

That said, we DO have plans and hopes to include flags in Font Awesome at some point... and are actively working on how best to accomplish that. What we likely won't be doing is added singular, one-off flags. When we add them, we'll be adding a LOT of them.

With that in mind, we will be closing existing flag requests and re-directing them here.
