convert svg to layered PSD? #2073

Hi, I was asking the folks at blendme.in, which makes an opensource Photoshop extension to include free icons in designs, if they could include the fonts from FontAwesome. Unfortunately they're not sure how to convert the .svg file you provide into a Photoshop file with named layers which they'd need for their tool.

If it's cool to include the font/icons, any ideas on how to supply that? This would be awesome to have as I love FontAwesome and go through a few hoops now to include the icons in my designs for client approval. :) Thank you!!

Did you try this ?

"Print this page to PDF for the complete set of vectors. Or to use on the desktop, install FontAwesome.otf and copy and paste the icons (not the unicode) directly into your designs." http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/cheatsheet/

I have the .otf installed but don't understand how to copy/paste the icons (copy from where?) into my designs. I've been taking screenshots and resizing by hand. Lame I know. :) Any tips much appreciated!

In any case, the blendme.in tool makes it insanely easy to search/include directly from Photoshop so it'd still be cool if FontAwesome could be included in its library.
