Icon request: buddicons (whole set) #3705

The entire WordPress / BuddyPress community will be kissing your feet (LOL) if you add BuddyPress and WordPress Icons to the index!

The icons are already available on GitHub at: http://field2.github.io/buddicons/

Font-Awesome is built into almost all theme templates these days and a lot of developers / designers try to make use of these icons [by having to use another icon service -> That adds more server requests = not good]. Also these icons are becoming a standard for WP core sites and users recognize their use - Good for UX!

So, to help make the internet a happier word, PLZ, PLZ, PLZ!!!

@codethirteen Thnx but I am aware of the one-and-only WP 'Brand' icon. There are several dashboard icons - Its esp. the BuddyPress icons that are in need (See link above). If you do a g-search, you will find hundreds of requests for means to utilize them in sites - and nothing but disappointments for the folks who do not have the ability / resources to implement them into their sites (bloggers in general).

If they were embedded in the Font-Awesome library, These people could use them easily and developers can improve their optimizations in their themes.

What icons are you requesting?

@tagliala No prob. Your title renaming is appropriate. They are mainly the BuddyPress Dash Icons - A.K.A. BuddyIcons. The icons in the link [in my request above] are the ones that are most commonly used on the front end of both WP and BP sites. http://field2.github.io/buddicons/

We have two transgender icons...but not one for BuddyPress? Come on, get this merged in @tagliala

If you need these icons, I should suggest you to consider a custom build of fontawesome.

You could also consider to fork the repository and hack with .otf, then feel free to share here your work :+1:
