it would be very useful to have a set of underground, U-Bahn, Metro etc. icons.

This is the only official logo for Moscow subway. It's in use since late 2014. You should use the last one that is lightened to be readable in small format. http://www.artlebedev.ru/everything/metro/logo/vector/
