Icon Request: fa-nike #4641

Can this icon be added?? nike

Why do you keep requesting random icons for brands? Not all brands can go into font-awesome or it will defeat the purpose of having a light weight font for icon inclusion. How many sites do you think will actually need a nike icon, or a CNN icon, or an Adidas icon?

Everyone of your requests has been closed as a pre-existing icon, or is for any other brand? As someone who uses this quite extensively, I don't need 100 non-web based icons in the font.

These are not random icons. And you alone can't decide that who need what on his/her website or something. These are very famous brands. And yes I need it for my project. Rather than using images I'd like to use a cool icon for a change. So please either you make an actual effort to the website by requesting some icons for the site or STOP criticising others by commenting on other people's request!

This will only help the website grow!

I have just as much right to request icons not be added as you have you suggest they go in. I use FA as I want a small fast library of common icons, so as a user its in my interest to decent.

Besides, Font-awesome is already massively used, it doesnt need these icons to grow, its doing quite fine as it is.

Font Awesome is meant for high re-usability, and the Brands that are of common use are included for this reason e.g A Paypal logo, a Visa Logo will be use on almost every web-store being built. If you need an Icon/Brand that you will only use once every great while, there are tools out there that you can use to build or create yourself.

Any proper request is valid.

Of course there are brands that have more chances of others of being implemented.

It's fine too request for nike brand, it's more than fine to suggest custom builds of fontawesome (take a look at the brand new https://fonticons.com/ from Dave) but please be nice with others
